Environmental Association of Ylä-Satakunta

From time to time we introduce some inspiring FreeMore user stories in our blog. This is the story of Environmental Association of Ylä-Satakunta. They use a Finnish language version of FreeMore Start called Yhdistysavain Start.

Environmental Association of Ylä-Satakunta (commonly known as “YSY”) is a part of the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation and it operates in regions called Parkano, Kihniö and Karvia. The association’s goal is to preserve healthy, safe and pleasant living environment and to keep humans’ relationship with nature as close as possible. YSY wants to contribute to biodiversity conservation of the environment by various means, for example they have ongoing water decontamination project called “Huomiota humusvesiin”. They also want to enjoy the nature first hand and therefore organize various nature hikes and excursions.

YSY started using FreeMore because they wanted to appear on the web via site that looks personal and is easy to use and update. They wanted to free up more time for content creation, and didn’t want to wrestle with the technical side of the network world. An especially delightful thing has been that while the updating and content creation is so quick and easy, it is possible to share the maintenance responsibility between many people.
